Hotel MariachiUrban Space and Cultural Heritage in Los Angeles won First Place at the 2015 International Latino Book Awards on June 27 in San Francisco. Co-authors Catherine L. Kurland and Enrique Lamadrid accepted the award from Latino Literacy Now at the awards ceremony, held in conjunction with the American Library Association Annual Meeting.
